We welcome you to Buffelspan Safaris situated in the heart of the Limpopo bushveld.

Our beautiful farm provides an excellent bushveld hunting experience as well as a soulful relaxation and connection with nature. You will be able to immerse yourself in all the sights and smells as well as you get to see some of our amazing plains game, birdlife, and flora.

We are situated a mere 8km from the Botswana border around 3 to 4 hours driving distance from Johannesburg/Pretoria. If you want to escape the noises and busyness of the city, then this journey is well worth it!

We have 5 unique and beautifully designed guest rooms comfortably sleeping 2 adults each. The rooms boast an en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower to experience nature at its best. Our 6th guest room caters for more than 2 adults and offers an en-suite bathroom and living area. All our rooms are equipped with air conditioning as well as tea/coffee facilities and guest amenities. You will be able to sink into your large super king bed laid out with fresh linen and have a luxurious bath or shower with freshly laundered towels.

Our Boma and Bar area is something to experience! If you are an avid meat eater, we offer various cooking options such as smoking, espetada braai, potjie area or pully system braai. Your evenings will be spent in culinary heaven or as we simply put it – in allowing men to experience their outdoor man cave. Our lodge is booked on a self-catering basis, and we are therefore happy to provide a fully equipped kitchen together with a walk-in fridge, large deepfreeze as well as a blast freezer. Our bar offers a large bar fridge as well as underbar fridge and ice machine. Our coffee machine is a hit amongst coffee addicts, and we gather there most mornings to start our day!

Although our main focus is offering quality hunting that is moral and ethical, we also allow our guests the chance to experience nature through drives as well as walking. Richie your guide and host has a love for the bush and wants to share with you all that it has to offer. As an experienced PH and game ranger for more than 20 years there is always something new to learn in the bush and you will leave our farm with an appreciation for nature like never before. Board games, noughts and crosses, mountain bikes are a few activities on offer together with morning or evening nature drives and walking. Simply lounging under our lapa with a good book or soaking in the sun by the pool will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
